They differ in price, in how much data they collect, and in the extras built on top, from AI food scanning to estimated medication levels.

We compared seven options for iPhone that come up most often in App Store searches and GLP-1 tracker roundups, plus Medisafe and a few others worth knowing. What to look for in a GLP-1 tracker

  • Reminders you'll notice, ideally with a heads-up before injection day.
  • Injection site tracking, because medicine leaflets ask you to change where you inject.
  • Dose history that keeps the strength of every dose as your prescription changes.
  • Side effects and weight in the same place as your doses, so patterns are easy to see.
  • A privacy approach you're comfortable with. Check the App Store's App Privacy section, not just the marketing.
  • A price that works over months, not just the first week. Our cost comparison does the maths.

Shotsy: best free all-rounder with sync

Shotsy is the best-known GLP-1 tracker, with a 4.8 rating from about 32,000 US App Store ratings. Its free version is unusually complete: shot logging, dose reminders, automatic injection site rotation, side effects and weight charts. It supports many medicines, including daily pills and custom medications, several at a time. It also offers widgets, CSV and PDF export, and 17 languages.

The Shotsy+ subscription adds an estimated medication-level chart and Apple Health sync. On iPhone you don't need an account, and data syncs through your private iCloud database. The Android app requires Google sign-in. Its privacy label declares no tracking and no data linked to you, but lists some data collected and not linked to you. Consider it if you want the most features for free or need Android. We compare it in depth in Shotsy vs JabKeeper.

MeAgain: best for food logging and an AI companion

MeAgain (4.8 from about 33,000 US ratings) pairs dose tracking with a strong food focus. The free version covers shot and pill logging with reminders, and 18 common side effects plus custom ones on a 0–10 scale. It also includes food logging by barcode, search or quick entry, with protein, water and fibre targets, weight trends and a limited allowance of chats with Capy, its AI companion. Premium adds photo food logging, Journey Cards, a widget and unlimited AI chat.

Its App Store privacy label lists Identifiers and Usage Data as "Data Used to Track You". It also lists several categories as linked to you, including Health & Fitness. MeAgain's own site says it has no PDF export yet. Consider it if nutrition and coaching matter as much as your injection log.

Glapp: best for medication levels and Apple Watch

Glapp stands out for what it includes for free: shot and weight tracking, estimated medication levels, and supply tracking for pens and vials. It runs on iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and the web, with account-based sync between them. Glapp Max, at $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year, adds progress reports, milestones and predictions.

Glapp doesn't describe a food log; it tracks hunger and "food noise" instead. Its privacy label declares no tracking, but lists Health & Fitness, Contact Info, Identifiers and Usage Data as linked to you. Consider it if you want medication-level estimates without a subscription or log from your watch.

GlucoPal: best no-account app with iCloud sync

GlucoPal is listed as "Mounjaro Tracker" on the UK App Store, where it has more than 2,000 ratings, and as "Zepbound & Mounjaro Tracker" in the US. It needs no account, and your data syncs through your own iCloud. The developer says it doesn't have access to that data. It includes an injection site rotation map, AI photo estimates for meals, a food database, progress photos and Apple Health.

The estimated medication-level chart and a PDF report for your provider need GlucoPal Pro. Its privacy label declares no tracking and nothing linked to you. It is iPhone only for now; the developer says an Android version is in development. Consider it if you want iCloud sync and a rich feature set without creating an account.

Pep: best for iPad

Pep, from Shred Apps, runs on iPhone, iPad and Android, and appears as "Mounjaro Tracker" on the UK App Store. It isn't the same app as "Pep AI". Dose, weight, side-effect and reminder tracking are free. Its paid Pro plan costs about $40 a year, or monthly, and keeps several devices in sync. Features include injection sites, medication-level estimates, body measurements, AI photo and barcode food logging, progress photos and home-screen widgets.

Pep says it doesn't offer PDF or clinician exports. Its privacy label lists Identifiers as "Data Used to Track You". Consider it if you want a tracker that works well on iPad.

Apple Health Medications: best built-in option

The Medications feature in Apple's Health app is free and already on your iPhone. It can schedule a weekly injection on a specific day, send a follow-up reminder 30 minutes later if you haven't logged it, and record each dose as taken or skipped. You can also export your medication list as a PDF. It can't record injection sites, and side effects and weight live in other parts of Health. Consider it if you only need reminders or take several medicines. See Apple Health Medications vs JabKeeper.

JabKeeper: best for privacy and a one-time price

JabKeeper is our app. It's built for one weekly injection: Mounjaro, Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic or another weekly injection. It reminds you the day before and on the day, and shows the next injection site in your rotation. With the lifetime unlock, it adds weight and goal tracking, a side-effect diary linked to your dose day, food and protein, Apple Health and Calendar. It's free for two dose records, then $9.99 once.

There's no account, no cloud and no analytics, and its App Store label is "Data Not Collected". Those same choices are its limits: no sync or backup, iPhone only, no widgets, no export and no medication-level chart. Consider it if you want a calm, private injection diary without a subscription.
